Aid from the Women’s Aid International fund together with the Polish Center for International Aid. We distributed food packages to people who suffered due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and who live in the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts of Kyiv.
Poland became one of the first countries that actively supported Ukraine from the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion. Help from our neighbors was and is a lifesaver. The Poles opened the borders for Ukrainian refugees, took in thousands of women and children fleeing the occupation and shelling from the Russian Federation. Poland provided and continues to provide a significant amount of humanitarian aid: food, clothing, personal hygiene products.
As part of cooperation between Ukraine and Poland, we distributed food kits. Each product set included:
Who could get help?
Elderly people and refugees living in the Darnytskyi or Dniprovskyi district of the city of Kyiv.
How many kits were distributed?
We distributed a total of 275 food kits.
