In November 2023, the implementation of the joint project between the charitable foundation Women’s Aid International and the US Embassy continued – “School for Social Workers”.

Training sessions were conducted for the second group of participants. In total, 18 prospective social workers received certificates upon successful completion of the training!

Some of the participants have already independently secured employment and will soon apply the knowledge gained during the training in practical settings.

The aim of the educational program is to provide new professional opportunities for displaced individuals who aspire to work in the field of social support. Participants receive comprehensive training aimed at acquiring skills for collaboration with various demographics, including the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and war-affected individuals.

The educational program aims to explore the fundamentals of caring for vulnerable groups and prepare students for future employment opportunities.

The project “School for Social Workers” will engage 100 displaced individuals who have decided to shift their professional focus and embark on a completely new career path for them.
