In September, the Women’s Aid International charity fund, together with the US Embassy, continued the implementation of the “School of Social Worker” project.

In September, a competitive selection of candidates for participation in the training program was held and participants who will undergo training in October were selected.

A training program was also created, which includes the following blocks:

• Basics of social work
• Ethical principles of social work
• Psychological aspects of old age
• Physiological changes in the body in old age
• Common diseases in old age
• Basics of care for bedridden and immobile people
• Peculiarities of communication with the elderly
• Resolving conflict situations in the process of communication
• Building successful communication
• Prevention of emotional burnout: how to protect yourself
• Stress resistance
